Snap Shot Saturday...Signs That You're No Longer In a Big City

By
Real Estate Agent with Aubrey and Associates Realty

Darcy and I noticed something that reminded us that we're not living in a big city.  We drove down the Mountain from Brian Head to Parowan and this is what we saw.  The Building on the left is the Parowan Swimming Pool, the photos were taken at the Lion's Park in Parowan.

Yes there are 3 head of cattle grazing at the Parowan City Park.  Okay there are 2 cows and a calf!  This you don't see in the Big City!

Tony that is priceless.  I love it!  When I lived in CO I used to see sights like this as well.  Brianshead - we love skiing up there.  Takes us awhile to get there but it's worth the trip.

I think it's a great way to keep the grass short!  Maybe it could even be considered "green technology".  Oh, and yes, the mowers "work for food"!  I love it!  Have a great weekend!

Wonderful, beautiful country. . .I'm still in dreamland from my little trip to all the wonders along Utah's Highway 12.  What a magical place!

Tony - maybe the lawn mower is broken this way the lawn gets cut and fertilized all in one go.

That is true. I cannot say that I have seen cows grazing in a city park before, but this possibly cuts down on the mowing bill...

Anna: It is one of the fun things about living in smaller towns!

Richard: Good advice!

Silvia: I hadn't really thought of that, it is a green way to keep the grass mowed.

Myrl: It is some beautiful country!

Kathy:  That's a possibility, cheaper than fixing it and having someone mow the lawn.

Joan: It is true that we see things that you don't see in larger cities!

Michael: I guess times are tough on everyone even small town governments!

We have a local farmer who uses the goats he raises for his commercial clients that does just that ... he has portable fences that he moves from area to area, the goats eat what ever is left in the area then he turns the soil
