Does anyone ever get a real buyer from Actve Rain?
Why am I doing Active Rain and Facebook? Most of the posts on Facebook are usually about people themselves. The ME GENERATION

Hi Marcia, I am wondering this also; so I will just stick around and observe answers. great question!
Marcia, I'm not sure how long you have been on Active Rain, but I have gotten referrals from other Active Rain agents, which ultimately became buyers. The one important thing to do on here is to blog and comment on other peoples blogs, and get known on the AR community, and referrals will come your way. I have sent out a few also. As far as Facebook, I just see people every day talking about what they are gonna do that day, and playing silly games.
Marcia,
The answer is a resounding YES. Many of our members are getting contacted directly by consumers and getting business as a result. One lady in the post I link to has closed 17 deals amounting to $122,000 in commissions. One of our Community Builders, Brad Andersohn recently wrote a post about the successes of some of our members. You can read that post by clicking here.
We get over 2.1 million visitors a month, the overwhelming majority of those visitors are people looking for information about buying and selling a home and they are finding content our members have written about the process in their local market. Please feel free to give me a call and I would be happy to show you how to harness the power of ActiveRain. 425.753.7340
Looks like Bob beat me to the punch and comments here. My response would have been the same as his. Feel free to contact either of us if you need any assistance at all. :-)
Hey, I'm no AR cheerleader but I've had 3 buyers in the last month. All found me from a post about my area on AR. It looks to me like you started, stopped, started again. Have to be consistent or you're not going to get any benefits. Think of it like the corner store that keeps going in and out of business - that's your blog.
