The 65th Annual Floresville Peanut Festival

In July of 1938, plans for the first festival to celebrate the farming and harvesting of the peanut crop were discussed. This festival was planned to promote the peanut and to show the world wide success of Wilson County's farming program.
In August of 1938, the name of this proposed festival was changed from "Floresville Peanut Pow Wow" to "Floresville Peanut Festival." This festival was considered the first of its kind in Texas.
This years is the 65thAnnual Floresville Peanut Festival, and promises to be fun for the entire family.
