Know your Value
Many times we forget to voice what it is we do during the course of a real estate transaction. There is no time for bashful modesty, you should be conveying to your clients how much time you are spending and what you are doing for them. Tell them that the services that you are giving is absolutely amazing.
There is value, unbelievable value.
Think of the variety of services you offer, you are an expert on mortgages, taxes, property values, home repairs, contracts, easements, community services, venders, schools, you name it, it is endless.
You can show buyers countless homes on the market and what do they get charged? Nothing. How much was it worth? A colossal amount. RESPECT yourself and your profession by recognizing your worth.
How to "Know your Value"
1. Make a list of all the things you do, make it big and put it on the wall.
2. Add up the hours you spend on a client and all the costs related.
3. Present these facts to clients when appropriate and see if they know.

I was talking about this with someone this morning. We have to show our value and be able to convey that to buyers and sellers. We can't just sit back and say, "Well, Redfin or Zillow is a great alternative. Go use them instead of me". We need to demonstrate remarkable negotiating and marketing skills!
