Daniel Island (SC) Home Sales Update for August 2009

 Daniel Island (Charleston, SC) had 6 single family detached homes sell during August with an average sales price of $587,218 and median price of $561,205. This was a 33.3% decrease from sales in July with a 12% decrease in median price. The average number of days on market was 150 with a 96% sale to list price ratio. For every home sold in August, 4 homes were newly listed for sale. At the end of August, there was 25.5 months of home inventory; six months inventory is considered a balanced market.

 

As of September 22, 2009, there has been a 37.9% decrease in sales over the same time period from last year. Daniel Island currently has 133 single family detached homes actively listed for sale with an average list price of $1,176,201 and median list price of $874,980.
