It's getting dark outside

By
Real Estate Agent with Wilkinson & Associates

It's 7:30 PM and outside my window the dusk has settled in. As someone who enjoys lots of outdoor activities, I've been acutely aware of the decreasing daylight over the past couple of weeks. Yesterday I noticed that the "Pumpkin Patch" near my home, that raises funds for cancer research, was open for business. High school football is in full swing, and in Belmont, NC, and throughout Gaston County, that is a big deal!

I love the Fall, but the truth is that I love all seasons - though I sometimes have my doubts about Winter.

Soon Daylight Savings Time will expire and many will go into hibernation, rarely to be seen until March. Not me, though! I'll be out running and riding my bike, making new friends among the hardier of my neighbors, and the Good Lord willing, selling a few homes to the lucky few who discover my little corner of the world.

I love the Fall as well, but I am not a fan of it getting darker earlier. That means less good sun to take photos of property and show clients.

Christopher - I really enjoy the cooler weather fall brings. I just don't enjoy the shorter days.

Fall is probably my favorite season. The brilliant colors when the leaves change colors, football, Halloween, my birthday,...I could go on and on.

I love the fall (so much so that I named my first daughter Autumn) but I also hate the fact that it gets darker earlier.  I guess it is give in take, just as in life.
