We Spend So Much Time With Our Clients, We Miss Them When The House Hunt Is Over!

I'm sure a lot of Real Estate Agents feel like this: 

When working with a family to purchase their first home I put myself in their place to determine the best home for them.  I try on the home as far as payment, location, schools, traffic and all of the other things involved in the decision of purchasing a home.

As a result, I get attached to them and actually miss them when the search is over!

The family below is very special to me and I want to thank them for being such great clients!

I also want to thank Zio, for the great pictures that he drew for me that now are in my office!

Special thanks to the children for being so patient, well behaved and joyful to be around!

One Terrific Family!!!

Hi Jane ~ This is so true - I often feel sad when a transaction closes - we're in such close contact for so long and then for the most part it's goodbye. I had a super sweet client say the other day "Oh I don't want to let you go" - I'm taking her to lunch next week.

Liz:  That's nice, I think we draw the clients with similar thought processes.  I know I do, and I even ask, wish, pray for like minded people to work with.

That is so true for most of my clients. I think especially today we spend so much more time with them to get them into a house that it does create a closer bond with them. You feel and share much more emotion with them.

Dianne:  I know, it is a liitle harder these days and the transactions can take so long.  I feel like I am related to them sometimes.  An aunt, to some, a cousin to others!!!

Jane - I feel like this about so many of my clients by the end of the transaction.  So much so, that I've actually continued to see some clients socially afterwards.  After nearly eight years in the industry, hubby and I still socialize with so many of my clients.  We also socialize with a few of the Realtors that I've become friends with through work.
