Did you know that Rotary International, with the support of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, have set a goal to eradicate Polio worldwide? Each Rotary Club is finding a way to do their part to support this lofty goal. The Rotary Club of Ashland Oregon is having a 5k & 10k run on Saturday October 3, 2009. Come on out and show your support of this great event and worthy cause!
Lithia Park - Ashland, OR 5k and 10k Run/Walk
These 10K and 5K runs offer a beautiful tour of Ashland, Oregon. 10K Runners start at the band shell in Lithia Park, run through the Historic Railroad District, and take the bike path towards Ashland Ave. The return route follows Siskiyou Boulevard past Southern Oregon University, the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, and finishes with a run through beautiful Lithia Park and finish at the band shell. 5K participants start the same way, go through the Railroad District and return by East Main to the Library and rejoin the 10K route there.
