BIG SOUTH FORK TENNESSEE: Spruce Creek Cabarn With 5 Acres, Right On The Trails!

By
Real Estate Agent with Tennessee Recreational Properties

Spruce Creek Cabarn Is Right On The Trail! This is the bargain of the century! Here's a five-acre parcel in the desirable Spruce Creek Acres equestrian community with a cute cabarn, set back from the road in a pleasant setting. Spruce Creek's "Evergreen Trail" borders this property and it is a mile and a half from the Cumberland Trailhead into Big South Fork National Park, with it's breathtaking scenery and hundreds of miles of fabulous riding.

Five acres is an exceptionally large Spruce Creek lot, so you'll have plenty of turnout or pasture. The cabarn is an efficiency apartment with a separate bedroom large enough to accommodate a Queen-sized bed, a roomy bathroom and a washer/dryer. There's a great room, a cute kitchen, dining area and a small sleeping loft/extra storage. Everything you need is right here, right now, so bring your horses and start enjoying yourself!

The two attached stalls could easily be converted to living space because the barn behind already has two 12x12 stalls.

Use this now, build a cabin later and keep the cabarn as guest quarters.

This Cabarn Has Alot To Offer!

This looks like a great property, Leslie.  Does "cabarn" stand for cabin/barn?

Hi, Roy. It's too bad they didn't put a coat of clear stain on it when it was built but 5 acres is half a kingdom this close to Big South Fork and one of this property's boundaries is a Spruce Creek trail so it has intangible value not reflected in the square footage.

Hi, Sharon. Yes, you clever girl, that's exactly what a cabarn is. I did a short post on cabarns some time ago and linked to it above. It's common here for people wanting just enough to use for weekends without alot of upkeep. As Baby Boomers are retiring here, though, they want something a little bigger and more upscale so the area is changing fast!

Hi Leslie,

That the first time I have heard of cabarn.  However it is a neat ideal and I love the way it is nestled back in the trees.  Good luck on a fast sale.

Thanks, Connie. I had never heard of a "cabarn" either until I got here. I hope it sells quickly too!
