This post was originally published on October 5, 2006. It was my very first post on the ActiveRain real estate platform.
Since I retired from active listing and selling and property management in 2011, I have removed old contact links and removed links to old websites and blogs. I have left the original content the same for nostalgic and historical purposes.
Please keep in mind that I am no longer licensed and cannot be anyone's real estate advocate. However, if you are looking to buy or sell a home or investment property (or send a referral) in Wenatchee and don't know who to call, let me know. I can make some recommendations of highly qualified agents for you to interview and hire based on your specific needs. They can guide you with the most current real estate news, info and trends in the Wenatchee real estate market. I get no financial compensation for these recommendations. I just want you to have a great buying or selling experience.

O.K... I admit it. A few days ago when I joined AR, I didn't understand the value of having yet another blog here. I already maintain 6 blogs (3 real estate and 3 personal) AND a regular website, so I just didn't see how I could find the time. Afterall, I do have to actually go out and sell real estate, not just type about it. Plus, I am happily married and I'd like to keep it that way. I shouldn't spend all my time at the computer.
Time aside, I didn't see the point. I get it now. After cruising around in AR for the last few days, I can see this blog can be totally different. The opportunity to network and share with real estate professionals in all aspect of the business does intrique me. My content does not need to be consumer oriented, but it certainly can be. I'm looking forward to sharing some ideas about my opinions, how I do business, and glean ideas from all of you out there in the rest of the real world.

Good morning Debbie Reynolds . No, I don't have all 6 blogs. I regret letting my primary real estate website/blog lapse. I wasn't thinking clearly after my husband died. I had a ton of great content on it and it was the #1 ranking website in Google for my market. #1-#7 actually! Oh well. My focus is different now and the AR website serves that purpose very well. I do have other blogs but haven't contributed to them regularly.

HaHa... the only time I've really felt smart was when I convinced my very smart boyfriend (at the time) that it was a good idea to marry me! LOL
It's interesting, though, to go back and read that first post and realize how right I was. It is still true today. Through the ups and downs and growing pains, it is quite a testament to the AR platform.
