What is the most important ingredient for success in real estate? Good looks? Beautiful clothes? Nice car?

Nope, something simpler but much more important... the right attitude.

Too many people in our business suffer from stinking thinking! And it's not always their fault. They are putting negative thoughts into their minds so they can only get negative thoughts out of their minds.

What about you? Are you programing your mind for success? What positive, motivational book are you reading or CD are you listening to?

People ask me all the time, how I stay motivated? I believe in a basic concept, if you put garbage into your mind you get garbage out, but if you put positive thoughts in, you get positive thoughts out. So, I program myself for success. I read 30 minutes each night and listen to a minimum of 30 minutes each day, something that inspires, motivates or challenges me. I am still listening to Dr. Wayne Dyer's Excuses Begone. It's incredible! Starts my day each day with the right attitude.

If you want to get positive thoughts out of your mind, you must put positive thoughts in.

Please, feed you mind something positive today.

Don't forget the webinar, "Developing an Outstanding Listing Presentation", Friday 1:00PM EST.

Thought for today: You will become what you think about most. Think success, become successful. Think failure...

Have a productive Weekend!

The right attitude definitely helps. Still require the basic people skills and a little real estate knowledge never hurts.

At first I was getting nervous, since I don't have the 3 mentioned---but YES! It's how we view our work and ourselves that determine the experience...attitude of gratitude. Have a great weekend!

Brodie, you are right the right attitude has alot to do with how your day goes and how your sale goes.  Stay positive and politely walk away from those that tend to be negative.

Darn you mean I shouldn't have bought a new car.  Of course the old one broke down on the side of the road which is never good when you are headed out to meet clients.

Brodie,

Thanks for the reminder to be positive. We really control our own destiny to an extent by the way we think.

Brodie,
I thought it was my good looks, long hair and pick up truck.  It's been a perfectly quiet afternoon, watching football, blogging, commenting and then you come up with  "stinking thinking,"   Yuuk
