GPS tips

I read this a few weeks ago and as a new GPS user (and yes, I still have my maps in the car) I tried it out last weekend when showing homes a bit out of my comfort area.  SO glad I did as I looked like I knew each and every back road like the back of my hand.

When traveling to multiple locations program in all possible destinations prior to leaving.  It's so much easier than trying to add in while traveling, or between locations.  If traveling out of your area and bringing your GPS with you, program in airport, hotel, restaurants etc.

Any other tips for a newbie?

Hi Patti ~ I love the idea of looking like I knew every back road. You refer to something you read a few weeks ago. Care to share what that was?

I'm pretty new to AR myself, so it's a little early for me to be giving tips. I have been buffing up on technology and have found Mozilla Firefox much more conducive to blogging than IE. Firefox has some really cool add ons that I intend to blog about when I get more time. This morning I found the add on screengrab that allows me to save a screen shot as a jpg file to later use in a blog...

Denise,

I believe I read it on a friends site ...  I've also been thinking about Firefox, mostly on the urging of my children, I just haven't made that committement yet.  And last I knew, our Statewide MLS is not quite ready to be supported by Firefox so would still need to run IE... I'll get there, all in good time!
