It's simple....

I often wonder how many people really think that the "government" actually creates jobs. Politicians take credit for creating jobs everyday all day, but do they actually do any job creation? The short answer is NO! Oh they will twist it and spin it to look that way, but in reality they don't do anything but cost jobs with their indecisiveness and turmoil.

Think about it for a minute. If you are a business owner how the hell do plan for anything, with the "geniuses" we have in charge in Government. One day they are raising taxes the next day they are cutting them. Politicians can scare business and the general population into not producing without even really trying. You could send them home for a whole term and the country would run better. Fear and uncertainty created by our government is what hurts us more than anything.

Our economy needs long term thinking that provides stability and hope not a band aid on a gapping gunshot wound. We are right where we are today because our ‘trusted" government got into bed with big money and took us all for a ride. Plain and simple, we had the fox guarding the hen house folks. I for one am not surprised that the fox, not only sold the eggs but ate the dang chickens!!!

Terry,

It is simple.  Lower taxes on small business owners.  Give them a chance.  Stop requiring small business owners provide health care.

A flower shop with just the owner and a high school kid helping out should not be required to pay for health care.  Let the parents of the 16 year old maintain their child.

There is NOTHING in this bill that will stop illegals from free health care.  It is another pathetic bill, like all of the others.

I pay my own way.  I would work 2 jobs if I had to.  I would rent rooms in my home to pay the bills.

We do not want to become the ole USSR, and we are on the fast track right now.

Terry- the government does create jobs, unfortunately, they are government jobs. However, instead of producing, they are consuming. They spend money rather than create it. It is the biggest welfare system in the world.

I'm with Mike above.  They do create jobs but do not create anything from those jobs.

What long term jobs were created?  Can anyone tell me?

If you can tell me ONE long term job that was created then I will jump for joy.
