I have been a sales manager for many years. I had a repreive on the position for 12 years. On april 11th of 2008 I entered the field again. We started the office from 0 realtors and have built it to 90 agent-ish since that date. Myself and a number of key performers where leaving town for 5 days. This was the first time since the opening that this type of absence was going to take place.
What was I to expect during the time away and when I got back. I new how it ran would be the real test of how good that office was. I receieved only one call while I was away. So, now did they have no problems or was there a mess waiting for me when I got back?
I got to the office on monday. Only one real problem was there and it was created by someone outside my office. These guys are becoming very talented. So, that I am proud of them is an absolute understatement. They helped each other, the put more contracts in place then I expected and new people produced and lead. This is a team that will need to be dealt with on a city and national level. They are about to do something incredible.
