Looking For A Haircut In Pennsauken?

If you're in Pennsauken and looking for a haircut, it's worth the short drive to The Clip Joint.  The Clip Joint sits on the corner of Maple Ave. and Centre St. in Merchantville NJ.  There's a good chance you've heard of it.  You may even know the owner, Al.  Al's owned The Clip Joint for over 40 years.  He's one helluva nice guy and a pillar of the community for decades.

Once you get to know Al, it's obvious that he just wants to give people great haircuts and have some fun along the way, but somehow he's ended up doing more.  Stepping into the cozy shop, and you're likely to see generations of people catching up with one another while sharing a laugh and a story.  After 40 years in the community, mothers and fathers have introduced their sons and daughters (and grandsons and granddaughters) to Al and his staff at The Clip Joint.  And they all keep coming back.

When asked whether The Clip Joint is a Barber Shop or a Beauty Salon, Al refuses to be pigeon-holed.  "We do it all!" He says.  "We do moms and dads, grandmoms and grandpops, babies...every age imaginable....any kind of haircut...even hip-hop!"  The smile on his face tells me Al really loves what he does.  Great haircuts and a great atmosphere insure he'll never have to stop doing it.
