Referrals within your company
I have an interesting scenerio and would love to hear your comments regarding how you make and conduct your referral business. I'm new to this so please bear with me. I referred a client to an agent in my office who has experience with commercial properties. I took them both out for their meetingl They hit it off. I had no idea that my buyer was to be a continous buyer!!! Within in 10 days he had bought a 3/4 mil property. ( I got a 25% referral. I joked that this would be a 25% referral for life but really did n't believe it would go much further Now that agent has written another letter of intent for another million $$ property. Do I just send him the referral form? I still communicate with this client although he lives in another state. In fact we have dinner plans for July 19th!! He totally understands that I am his residental girl but do you think I should offer the other agent a cut on my residential for the long term commercial. I KNOW I KNOW WHY DIDN'T I GET THIS IN WRITING!!!!
