After the REOTRANS Name change...hopefully!!

Hopefully after the name change "Equator" will do something about the BPO form on their site. On several occasion I have filled in the entire form, hit save submit and it take me back to the login page....all data lost!! It does not have the capability to save input data as you go along, if you hit save it takes you out of the form. Normal input for me takes about 30 minutes if I do not have anyone distrub me. Has this happened to anyone else?

Paul, That's a real BUMMER!  I hate it when a website that needs my input,,, has begged me to do something and I go there to do it and it doesn't work.  Hopefully it will get better soon!

I noticed when I first starting using REOTrans BPO form it wouldn't save on my MAC. Are you using a MAC or PC? Internet Explorer or another Browser? Also sometimes when I hit delete the page just goes backwards, and you just need to hit the page forward button. I hope this helps.

Usually if the page goes backwards, the data is gone, thus you have to start all over again. Some of their other forms have an auto save feature, but not the BPO form.

Allison,

True enough we have the business, but why make or have it so non-user friendly for that form. At least it could have an autosave feature some some of their other forms.

Julie-- I have been stuggling to get REOTrans and now Equator to work on a Mac. Do you have a solution? Particularly when filling out a BPO form. I click the link to open the BPO form and it saves it automatically as a PDF on my desktop. Do you know how to make BPO forms work with a Mac?? I am very interested in what you have found. Thanks SO MUCH in advance!! --Cristina

Julie and Cristina,

I talked with support at Equator about the use of Mac's on their system; they said if at all possible use a PC, but if you use a Mac, use IE or Mozilla Firefox.

Paul, thank you so much for speaking with them. I finally got through to their help line as well after many lengthy attempts. They told me the same thing, although the BPO forms are not right even with IE or Firefox. They download as a PDF file and there is no way to submit them. They said because the form is not opening in the internet window it is not their problem it is a problem with Adobe Reader and they gave me the number to Adobe. I tried calling them and they said because Reader is a free program they do not provide any support for it. :( Very frustrating. I hope some day they become Mac compatible. :)

Cristina, when I got through, it was via their live chat. It only took a few seconds before I had response from the support staff. Being I do not have a Mac, am I understanding the problem correctly; that when you open the form you are not able to insert information, you are not able to submit the form after completion of addind info, or just just can not get in at all?

If you are using Windows 7, it will happen. I've also noticed that an update from Microsoft will change my system configuration by preventing me from opening the form on the Equator system via a hidden pop-up that you won't even see. There are so many variations to their forms, I don't think they will ever get it right.

If you haven't, downloan Firefox pr Safari. As for saving the file on your desktop, go to www.PrimoPDF.com, download the trial version of Nitro and that purchase it if you like it later.

Hello Evryone,

Just to get your kind opinion

I give you two choices which one you would choose

1. Filling the traditional PDF BPO form

2. Filling a HTML programmed, online BPO form with same fields as mentioned in PDF form

Your comments would be appreciated and if possible we will satisfy our customers ASAP

HTML programmed would be my choice.

Why did they decide to keep the PDF format. I have done BPO reports for several of the "so called BPO Mills" but their form are all HTML programmed. Some even do the distance, the price per square foot calculations for you as you input your data. They are also programmed to auto-save the data input. I know that on many occasions while inputing data into the PDF forms, a distraction comes along and data is lost. Even if you save the data periodically the form closes, and you have to re-open to continue.
