Well things are starting to slow down here in Maine. So I am looking at ways to market my services.
Currently we do e-mail campaigns, send out facts, contact real estate agents regarding prelisting appraisals, expand our service and just making calls.
However I was looking for other ideas.. the use of the Internet and etc. Was wondering if any other appraiser would like to share their ideas good or bad regarding marketing?

We have found that in slow times, attorneys are good contacts for divorce and estate work! I'm working on 2 estate jobs and have been referred one other!
I must say, things have been a bit slower over the past couple of weeks here as well. However (this is where I give Active Rain a big plug), I have received five (yes 5) FSBO Appraisal order requests in the past 2 weeks in large thanks to AR for directing the home owners my way.
