Statistics are cool - they're fluid and constantly changing,  but they do provide us with a snapshot in time.  The Source?  Well Ben Kinney, Brad Andersohn and Bob Stewart of course! :-)

So here goes!

Did you know that now... 

*74.1 percent of population is using the internet..

*The Average person spends 32.7 hrs. a week online...vs.16.4 hrs.spent watching TV- that's almost a whole work week!   And Ben said..."if only they were getting paid by the hour for it!  No kidding eh?

Ok...back to the Stats. :-) Did you know that...

*32% of the total amount of time spent online is now spent on Social Networking?

*87% of buyers are using internet to buy find home...

*32% of buyer actually found the home they purchased online - drove out - called agent and bought it!

*90% sellers claim that their home was marketed online...

And Some Tips!

*All forms of internet advertising are not created equal - first page of google is what is relevant - so be there!

What Makes a Great Website Page?

Content and Keywords Rule!

•-          Fresh content ( words on a page)

•-          Keep the pages under - 500 words

•-          Key word density- 2-4 %  if you had a 100 word website - if you wanted to rank for the word  ‘onion' you'd say it 2 to 4 times........(How many times is a particular word repeated).

•-  How old is the website and how big is it? In other words, the longer its been around, and the more pages it has the better!  Don't believe it when they say that SIZE doesn't matter!  It does! :-)

TIP:  Every time there is a Realtor going out of business phone and ask if they have any websites for sale !

*Register your domain name for longer time - don't do it for just one year at a time - do it for 5! Google will think you're planning on staying around for a while!

*Description should match page -  to capture people you don't know be descriptive -  about page titles and descriptions...

*Links - Reciprocal links are not as valuable as one way links.

*You want one way links linking back to You!

* Consistently add content -more links with the phrase you want to rank for - keep changing content and adding pages!

Hey Brad!  Well I had one huge humongous post and then decided it would be smart to divide it up into 3 maybe......:-)  It was great meeting you too!  It adds a different dimension to our online relationships - when we get to meet in person - I've been very blessed! A/R has changed my world......and I have much of it to thank you for! :-)
