So true. It seems to change faster than most people can even learn it! Think we will ever reach a stage where we discuss marketing to folks who aren't on Twitter or Facebook? How will we ever communicate with them?

You absolutely correct in the respect that it changes faster than we can learn it. I think social marketing is here to stay and we don't have a choice, as marketers, but to keep up with at least certain aspects of it. We need to pick a method we are comfortable with and develope it. There are way to many methods to learn them all, and even if we could something new would be out tommorrow.

Selling is still a numbers game.  We just need to pick a method that still makes the numbers work for us, that we can live with.

I am already challanged daily by the new internet slang.
