The recovery in home sales is chugging right along in North San Diego County!

Here are a few stats that really show how well things are recovering...and please keep in mind that when we compare to last September that was also a pretty good month for sales!
- Median days-on-market for single-family detached homes in North San Diego County decreased from 39 days in August 2009 to 30 days in September 2009
- The number of North San Diego County single-family homes sold increased 6.65% last month, from 722 to 770
- September 2009 median single-family detached homes in North San Diego County increased 6.28%, from $430,000 in September 2008
- The average number of days-on-market decreased from 72 in August 2009 to 67 in September 2009
So...things are getting MEASURABLY better!!
And, if you look at historic data you see that September is generally much slower in sales volume and lower in price than August...so this is even Better news!
As Lord Kelvin said: "the extent that you can measure a thing and express that quantity in numbers is the extent to which you can know something about that quantity"
So, it looks like we KNOW that the market is improving in the San Diego area!
