 What happend to Fall?

October 15, 2009 snow fall marks the heaviest early-season snowfall on record in the Poconos. With a second storm hittings the area again this weekend. The storm is the earliest significant snowfall in the region since at least 1836 said our local weather person.

Last year we had a similar story an early snowstorm hit as well in October last year as well, though later in the month. On Oct. 27 and 28, the higher elevations of the Pocono Plateau were slammed with 10 to 20 inches of snow.

Whoa!  I wish the cold weather would hit Florida soon.  We have been having record heat in high 90s with feels like in the 100s.

Jeff and Heather, it's too early in the year to start snowing. I hope this isn't a sign of a rough winter.
