Grand Bohemian Reconfiguring

By
Real Estate Agent with Coastal Properties Group International - Christie's International
The Grand Bohemian Hotell and Residences, a highrise hotel and luxury condominium project in downtown St Petersburg Florida is about to undergo some design changes. Richard Kessler has decided to include more hotel rooms and less condominiums, so construction will be delayed for up to one year. Original plans were to have the first 15 of 32 floors as 166 hotel rooms, with 82 condominiums above, including two penthouses - with separate entrance and facilities but full use of all hotel services and amenities. The Kessler Group is known for incorporating art and music into its projects.  Their Westin Grand Bohemian hotel in Orlando has been named the top Westin hotel in the world. Their project for St Pete is unique in the Tampa Bay area.  Condominiums were priced from $500,000 to $5,500,000 but are expected to increase over the next year due to rising construction costs.  For more information or buyer representation, contact Sharon Simms at 888-746-6788 or visit The Simms Team website.

Wonder how well all these reconfiguring hotel and luxury condos are still selling.  Our reps are offering alot of incentives right now.

Teri - This is a first for downtown St Pete - this combination is often selling for a 25-40% premium nationwide, but has yet to be proven here. It's a great location, though one block back from Beach Drive, which has had the successful high-rise sales because of its prime waterfront views. I think number of sales obviously figured into Kessler's decision to  change the percentage of condos to hotel rooms.
