Many of my clients were comfortable with the business of leads from traditional channels, business through referrals and walk-ins. Today we see this trend on the downward spiral. Think about your business, are the leads flowing in enough to sustain your business? It is unlikely to be the case. Depending upon your market, your "online" leads will make up more and more of your future business. Many agents are unhappy with the production of their websites. Plenty of agents and brokers are succeeding every day; it's just that they aren't waiting for walk-ins and referrals anymore; they are going out and capturing prospects online. Get a basic web site and start your web marketing plan as quickly as you can. Very true Rick.... I can't tell you how much business I've gotten off the web.... If it wasn't for my website and the leads I've gotten from it, I would probably be doing something else.....
ALL my leads come from my web-sites. I have a referral now and then, but my clients come from all over the country wanting to move here, to lovely Crossville Tn. I spend an incredible amount of time managing my web sites and it pays off!
I think a basic website has become like the basement or attic storage site...one should also be investigating the social media micro-blogging items, too. That's where the consumer is!
I must agree if you don't have a web presence in this business you have your work cutout for you... I have a computer background and all most missed the boat. Some of the old-timers that you hang your license are so old school they have no clue...
If you are not on line blogging with a website start rght now!
