It is that time of year. As managers we have twice the responsibility for goal setting. First, is the planning with our agents and secondly, setting up store goals for the ownership group. I know, meeting w/ the agents that is still a couple months out, but I have to collect all the data from prior years and complile it for each agent. I will need to go through the goal setting meetings from the past and compile the notes. Walking in unprepared will cost me credibility.
The second is to prepare ownership goals. I need to know my numbers cold w/ running rates or I know I will walk out unrealistic goals. We had 107% increase this year. We will be up next year, but not 107%. The challenge this year will be increase human resources. Last year that was not the challenge.
So it is time. Guess what I will be doing for the next 2 months?
