Video as captivating as your photos!

Services for Real Estate Pros with Indy Boost Mobile Marketing | SMS Text Marketing
We recently expanded our business and now produce stunning video with Animoto from our clients photography for business and personal use. We take their stunning photography and turn it into a captivating video that can be shared with friends, family, and potential clients. Your video can showcase your business or product in a captivating, memorable and professional way. Each video is synchronized to the tempo of the music chosen from 300+ free-to-use songs licensed for commercial use. You want to create compelling content that highlights what your property has to offer. When you create unforgettable showcase videos, it is easy to turn those videos into sales-generating marketing tools. You are then able to bring your offer to your market using the power of the Internet and Web 2.0 strategies. This alone will expand your market reach far more than using a MLS service in a limited market area. Get proactive and be creative. It's fun! Some ideas to build your business:
  • create a marketing video to increase business
  • enhance your website or Blog
  • create promotional videos or virtual home tours
  • DVD's
Add a custom call-to-action button at the end of your videos. This optional feature turns your video from a passive viewing experience into an active marketing tool for lead generation. For example, create a button to "schedule a home tour" that links to your appointments page, or "learn more" that links to your website.

Interesting.  Not really video, in the dictionary sense, but worth a look.

I agree with Drick...give me narrated at the property, one on one 30 frames per second real mccoy videos..not a dressed up slide show that has the fireworks, busy busy transitions. I just think slide shows with in and out vertigo are recycling the same images you showed them on your enhanced 25 image site, etc. But James..if it's working for you..use it to the hilt. It seems okay for a Madonna music video...not a 3 bedroom ranch.

But I would like to hear your not just see images but have you tell me like I am at the place with you with the echo of the grand hall foyer of your real voice. To see a fireplace flame dancing, ceiling fans turning, the place lit up. The audio is 40% of the video..nice tune on this one but I want to meet you, have you tell me and tour me and so see how this room goes to this room and how they all fit together, how they flow.  This is a typical video that we whipped up pretty quickly because you shoot it with the idea of how you edit it, stitch it together. We've cranked out 360 of them and the area ones with local events work well to use all five senses to show the area. You can weave in the images too with video and once in awhile the black and white to color works well but like any feature, over use defeats its use, effect. Thanks for your post James. We'll check out the site and be following you!

Another one in agreement with Drick and Andrew from above... it's a fancy slideshow that might work for some clients but it isn't true video. I've been looking for someone to help me make listing videos like the ones Andrew has on his youtube channel...

It is the up and coming way to go... although I worry about the computers or areas that dont have great coverage for broadband and cant handle the video without stopping and reloading several times... even though we pay for DLS our service in Alaska doesnt always allow the video to be played with stop and re load... you tube you can stop the video and let it get ahead so it plays ....

you have a great product... would like to know how it could be made to play on all computers in all areas....

@James Nice way to switch it up and use some of the new tools out there. I think the content and use of the tool is great. What I'm curious about is how are you effectively getting this marketing piece out? I think that is much more important. How to creatively get that info out to connect and engage with would be buyers.

@Andrew Moores I tried to watch your video. I got bored really quick. I'm not in the market to buy though, so... Wouldn't it make more sense to show just 2-3 highlights of the home, tell a story of the home, the area and then a call to action to see the rest? I felt like I was being sold, instead of being giving a tour. And do buyers want to feel like they are being sold?

Both are cool methods of using tools out there, love that!

I tried this service out of curiosity. When you register and do a free run, they send you an e-mail with the "video" however it is a very poor quality to insite you to get a full package at 250 bucks per year. Also they don't give you a video file, the video is available only on their website. The way the "video" is done, I don't think it is any good for anybody who knows how to work, say with Powerpoint or any simple video software. This site is only good for absolute newbees or people with very short time for video.

Jim, Some like vanilla, some like chocolate...luckily (or unluckily) we have a lot to choose from in ice cream and marketing techniques. I liked this for a quick run through on images with some music to keep my mind actively engaged. It's a lighter side of marketing than a full video. I think this boils down to which marketing techniques on which properties and which clients...urban would love it, luxury not so much. Either way, I prefer this and video over virtual tours any day of the week...they (yawn) bore me.

James, I've watched a few of these Animoto videos and they look professional but I personally think every one I've listened to the music track is volume is too loud and distracts. I read through Animoto FAQs and didn't see anything on adjusting volume on the sound track. I agree with Tamara - I can see some uses for this in blogs and websites - maybe not for homes - I want to hear what the details of the home are as I am watching. At least I want that in addition to an animoto version.

To all of you who responded thank you.  There were a lot of helpful insights and hopefully everyone has been given some ideas of how they can apply this information to juice up their profiles or present their business to your clients. In any event have some fun with the free account, by the way you can use short video clips in addition to your photos now.  This is a new feature they added recently and it really works well and makes the presentation look sharp. So visit their site and explore the different features and check out the case studies, there are some real estate ones.
