One of the biggest requests for information I receive is for floor plans. I've noticed that quite a few agents will not post them on their site, figuring that they'll get more leads if they make the client ask for them. I disagree and think that you are more likely to get that clients business if you give them everything they want up front. After all, why would they go anywhere else? The biggest request for plans is for the Tuscany master planned community in Henderson. My husband has been working on getting them posted. So far, only the 1763 and 2573 plans are available online. The Tuscany is being built by Rhodes homes and will have 18 different neighborhoods at build out.

I agree that floor plans are requested frequently, but you find that people are also looking for more pictures of a listed property?

Pictures are the other big one. I try to get a picture of the model for that floor plan to go along with it. Unfortunately not all builders put up models of all of the floor plans they offer!

I am an residential architectural drafter, after I have done numerous searches online for homes and attending open houses, I became frustrated with the lack of a floor plans showing the layout of the home and have started offering this as a service to realtors, property manages, and the home owner. These plans I feel are essential to the potential buyer as they provide them with the flow of the home, they can visualize how to place their belongings, use them at an open house to write note about the rooms to discuss later at home with their family, and to remind them what the layout was of a particular home when they have view multiple homes.
