This saying has never been more true......

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with AXEN Realty and NEXA Mortgage California DRE# 530118

Real Estate is the highest paying hard work and the lowest paying easy work there is.

Keep that in mind as you sit at your desk waiting for the phone to ring.

If you really want to make it big you have to work hard.

And these days you also have to work smart and be constantly vigilant for changes that are happening regularly in the real estate industry.

Hard work is no longer enough by itself.

Take classes at your local board. Earn your ePro, your GRI, and other valuable certifications.

Review your business plan every 90 days to make sure you are moving in the right direction.

And don't forget to keep your focus on client satisfaction and you will be a winner!!

Jim: I don't wait for the phone to ring, I just make sure I answer it when it does. Cheers,

It is absolutely the hardest work I have ever done.  It also makes me use every skill I ever learned in all my other "professions".  But I do love it.

Jim, ditto that!  I have never worked so hard at a job and made so little lately, the hope is aways on the next deal, the next deal, the next deal!  I love this job and have become addicted to it, workaholic, yes, play when I can.  You really have to get up every day and make it happen!!

One question I find myself asking, "what ever happen to that nice 9 to 5 job."  Now it is 24/7 and very consuming.  But, the truth is it is a lot more fun and fufilling.

Thank you all for your comments. It is great to see all of you "get it"!

The saying has been around for many years. It is more true today than ever before.

In 2004 and 2005 you could wait for the phone to ring. Some got spoiled. All of you who commented didn't.

Keep going strong building your business! I wish you all great success! it will come for you!

Jim
