Everytime I take a buyer thru a home I get a request for feedback, generally by e-mail. Not something I live to give, but this time I just couldn't resist. No problem remembering the details on this home. This time I could let it rip...no worries about tipping my hand and jeopardizing a future negotiation. I decided to unleash some pent up frustration...but had to maintain a slight amount of professional dignity. It went something like this...
"Unfortunately my buyer is not interested. The sellers were home during the showing. Two of them were in the bed in the living room. The others (5) followed us around as we toured. We felt quite uncomfortable, but since we were inside we continued. You can eat off the floor. There was a pancake stuck on the kitchen floor along with some scrambled eggs and cereal, judging by how our feet stuck to floor there was syrup there too. Popcorn and candy was stuck in the den carpet. We stepped over something in the hallway, not sure what it was. There were dirty dishes setting on the tv and end tables. Just thought you would want to know!"
Sometimes feedback is worth giving! I had to let the listing agent know what was going on. For some reason I didn't get a call offering any incentives!
