AcctiveRain Success Story

By
Mortgage and Lending with National Credit Fixers - Matt Listro

Yesterday I was updating a client of mine from Mississippi (who saw my ActiveRain blog on Mississippi Credit Repair and subsequently hired me)!  First thing we did was to obtain a copy of her credit profile.  This woman had 39 derogatory items on the three credit bureaus.  I took her on as a client.  Today, 120 days later, she is down to 11 items with Trans Union, 13 with Experian, and 11 with Equifax.  We are not even done with her yet!  We are continuing to work on correcting her credit.  I should mention that we also helped her to establish 3 new pieces of revolving credit!

Thanks to the powers of the internet and specifically the powers of the ActiveRain Blog, this woman is on her way to rebuilding her financial future!

Hi Matt,

It looks like you thrive on challenges.  I'm not sure how similar our credit reports in Canada are.  We go by a Beacon (sp?) score.  Are derogatory items outstanding bills or late payments?

Great job Matt! So if I understand does she now have 34 derogatory items?

I like lenders who are not afraid to take on challenges. Clients like that who require more time and dedication can be a great source of referrals!

Good job Matt! Sometimes people get so overwhelmed by past mistakes that it's hard to concentrate on improving for the future without some help.

Nice job Matt. Elbow grease + expertise + experience. I also think wearing the aforementioned boots is helpful for credit, don't you? Ugh. :) Kate

Hi Kate collins: if you want to look at it on a per account basis, then she started with 117 (39 with TU, 39 with, EXP, & 39 with EQF).  So out of the original 117 derogs only 34 are remaining.  This is a deletion rate of 72% in only 120 days - I hope to have that upwards of 85% before I am done.

:)

I can vouch for Matt - the one client of mine I referred to him had their scores improve about 70 points in ... what about 3 months Matt? If you have buyers that care enough to work at it, Matt can help (Matt my mailing address is .... haha, j/k). I'd "hire" Matt again.
