Batting Average way down ???

Anyone else losing deals this month?  I'm 0 for 3, seems like more than half my contracts are failing this year (compared with about 10% last year), for all kinds of reasons; inspections, appraisals, credit, sometimes the buyer just gets cold feet.   Help!!

Hi Walter,  You should be feeling great you just got rid of your lost deals all at once and next month will be a humdinger.  The odds always seem to even out over the long term.

Hi Walter,   Haven't seen a drop off like you're getting.  Certainly more challenges and many agents seem over their head !

Walter,

I will agree with Bill. Hang in there. Next month will be better! But I think if most of us are realistic, we are seeing more terminations during Due Diligence and at the very best, we are having closings postponed over and over. Today I have a closing for a house that was supposed to close on September 25th. Buyer was a teacher with excellent credit. House looks brand new! It should have closed easily on September 25th, but thank God, it is closing today. It is a Win-Win-Win!

Walter, there is little comfort in knowing others are experiencing many of the same difficulties, but it's true. There are many obstacles to overcome in today's real estate world. Just do your best, things are bound to get better. Hang in there my friend.
