Marianne, Those are some very artistic pumpkins. Thanks for sharing them with us.
Love your collage. Who's handiwork? Looks like your all into the spirit of things.
Wish I had the talent to create a neat pumpkin sculpture. Every time I try, the results look very amateurish.
Marchel: Yes, these are my very sweet grandchildren...did you ever hear a grandmother say her grandchildren weren't sweet? LOL. Thanks for stopping in.
Thank you, Gary. We sure had a lot of fun carving and then taking the photos. Then I had the opportunity to do this collage. It's like cutting firewood. It warms you three times, while doing it, while appreciating your accomplishment, and then photo-shopping.
Hi Lora: Yes, we were having a great time. The kids did all the carving themselves...with a little bit of help.
John: Thank you. And thank you for stopping by.
Tom: Just for you, I'll tell you our secret. Buy a book. With the pumpkin cutting tools came a how to book. Since I have a copier in my home, due to my business, I was able to copy the pattern they desired, we taped it to the pumpkin, and traced the pattern by poking little holes into the pumpkin. Then you just start carving. The kids did all their own work!
Marriane - That's some pretty fancy looking pumpkin carving you are demonstrating there:-)
Marianne,
Someone nearby is an artist. Is this your handiwork? Very nice, whoever did it. Thanks for showing it. :)
Steve
Michael and Cheron: Thank you! Glad you came by.
Myrl: The pumpkin work is fun, but the grandchildren are really what I'm showing off! Thanks for checking them out.
Steve: Read my post, above, to Tom. We're not artists, we cheated! Thanks for stopping in.
This is my first year not to carve one, been under the weather so long...there is still time if I can find a "non-frozen" pumpkin! Nice collage, and the kids (and their handiwork) look great!
Thanks Cheryl. Do you get a lot of kids to your home on Halloween? We get some many that it's insane. Our cats are just going to freak!
