I attended the realtor.com workshop with Joe Sesso in Little Rock. This is a free workshop. It is a class teaching about realtor.com and its uses and also some useful info about other sites. As we all know the internet is the way to attract your buyers and sellers. 87% of buyers use the Internet to search for houses. As a real estate agent, if you are going to stay ahead you better be working on the internet. If not you may get left behind as a realtor. I have gotten several referrals from out of state realtors by them finding me on the internet. Active rain is a great way to get your name out there on the net. I have closed several deals with clients finding me on active rain. So, if you get a chance to attend this free workshop, it may be some very useful info that you can use in your real estate.
Did you sign up to use realtor.com? I've used it for years and even though it is expensive I think it puts me above the crowd.
I live and breathe from my Internet contacts. I may get thrashed for saying this, but I wouldn't don't spend my advertising money on Realtor.com. I dumped them several years ago. I see no benefits. There are far too many free options for us these days, with the best being Active Rain :) My blog drives $$$$ into my pocket.
Barbara,
I have been using realtor.com for a long time . You are right it gets you out there. I love it, I get contacts all the time off of it.

Elizabeth,
I agree, the internet is where it is at. Those agents who are not using the net are getting left behind. I have been keeping a log on all the people who contact me to see how they found me....internet is leading the way....it is awesome....good luck!! Real estate is going good here in Jonesboro, how is it in Alabama.
