Photo Tip - Use flash for balance

Master bedroom at Sun City AnthemTaking photos indoors that accurately show the room and an amazing view can be a challenge. Either the room looks great and the view gets washed out, or the view is perfect but the room is too dark. Even if you think there is enough natural light, use your flash. The flash will help balance the difference between indoor and outdoor light.

This photo is a master bedroom from one of the models at Sun City Anthem in Henderson, NV. I wanted to capture both the size of the room and the distant mountain views. By using my flash I was able to get a good balance of light, and with some quick adjustments in Fireworks I had the finished product.

The images we use reflect our professionalism and attention to detail. Produce quality photos (or have them taken for you) and you will always make a great impression ... with a little flash!

Karen - Fireworks is a graphics program from Macromedia. It has some features that are similar to Photoshop.

It lloks good, the flash takes out any shadows in the daytime when you have that much light. Great shot relating to the view.

Realtors need to pay more attention to the quality of  photographs. I cringe when I see what some agents allow to be put on mls.

It takes so lttle time to correct lighting, or crop for more pleasing perspectives, and the software that comes with HP printers is adequate to do most jobs.
