San Diego Area Real Estate Market Reports

Buyers and sellers in the North San Diego County area frequently look to market data to better understand their local market conditions and the particular communities where they now live or wish to buy.

The market reports I share are compiled monthly for a number of North San Diego County communities using data from the MLS. Samples of these reports are presented here in summary format to simplify your search for market data.

  • The most recent report for each community is listed below
  • Each market report has one or more links to prior reports on that community so you can see any trends

If you have an interest in other communities, or in specific market segments (e.g., high end homes), a custom report can be developed for you. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions if more information is needed.

With home prices in August up 4th straight month, reviewing data for your community may be of particular interest (keep in mind that market conditions are very local, and even the report noted here indicates that prices did not fare so well in all cities nationally).

Jeff you do a great job in putting these market reports together.  I like how you break out the areas.  Very good information.

Hi Jeff, Nice report. With sales up and prices down and the federal tax extension that will be passed in some form shortly, I think our balance of the year and the spring market will be quite active. Yeah for all of us! With NAR being here next month, maybe we should encourage more REALTORS around the US to move here just in case things gets too good, LOL.

Jeff given the prices in your area, it is saying a lot when prices go up.  Market conditions must be turning for the better out there.

Tom - you bet. The zoo is the greatest.

Lee and Pamela - thank you. I find doing these reports helps me a great deal as well, as i become that much more knowledgeable. It's been interesting to watch the shifts in different areas.

William - nah. let's not.

George - there certainly have been some improvements but things are very tight in the under $400 market still adn it does not appear that short sales are selling any faster. But I may be wrong there.
