The Sun is setting in the western sky...NO WAIT!

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with WHISPERING PINES REALTY 20398180

As the sun sets quietly in the damp western sky  I peek at my watch and see that it is ONLY6 PM!  Wait, it can't get dark so soon.  I have hours of work to do and less daylight to do it in every day!

My renter has this field of mine harvested which makes thing a bit easier for me on several fronts.  But the worst part is that this weekend is...

DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME!!!  We again turn the clocks back an hour, which means It will be dark an HOUR earlier.  Another hour in which I have lost to do fall chores and with the winter fast approaching, I need all the time I can get.

Some people like myself are dreading the earlier darkness and many are shouting for joy.  Just remember it is all in how you plan your day.  I just have to get some of the chores done early in the morning before I start my work...I do like the idea of an earlier sunrise!

I hate it, yes hate is a strong word, but I do.  It's dark at 5pm before we know it.  I'm in my pj's working on my laptop at 6pm when I used to be in shorts and a tank top in the back yard, working on my lap top in the daylight and enjoying the sunset at the same time.......rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Bummer, hopefully some day they will reverse it.  We no longer need it.

Hi Bill:

I'm all in favor of no changing the clocks...

It's a tough time of year when it gets dark at 5pm...

I do not like when it gets dark so early.  I lose motivation...however, in Arizona I do not have to deal with the cold!

Bill, This year I think I am finally ready for early darkness.  Maybe it's because fo the business in my personal life.

Dear William,

I love the change of seasons. Fall/winter are my favorite time of year because the mercury is not topping 100 degrees every day. This weather makes it great to work in the yard. I love it! If its too dark, get a head-lamp like the cavers use! They make quite a fashion statement, but are very useful!

;)

Marney...No snow that has taken up residence yet.

Don...I would like winter from Dec. 20th to Jan 2nd.  I prefer soft water fishing!

Terry...You are getting what we just had.

Betina...I will say, I have done that a time or two also.
