Every single day we are receiving multiple listings from clients wanting to short sale. It's a complicated process sometimes and other times it can go very smoothly.
There are so many homeowners upside down on their homes in Las Vegas that almost everyone is affected in one way or another. Either they are experiencing it or someone they know whether co-workers or family are feeling the strain.
The good news is that many banks are participating with the homeowners and allowing the short sale to take place. FINALLY,
It's a lot of work for the agents to complete a transaction successfully, and there are no guarantees that all the hard work will pay off. But there is something good that happens from all of this and it is the ability to help people. So many people (sellers) do not understand anything about what is happening to them except the bank is calling none stop and they are sending out letters scaring the heck out of homeowners.
I love trying to help people complete a successful closing so they can get on with their lilves. I invite other agents to educate themselves with the short sale process and jump on the short sale bus. if you know what you're doing and continue to work lots of hours and very very hard for your clients, a short sale can WORK...
