The Tax Credit For The First Time Home Buyer...

...would be extended and expanded to include present home-owners, which would stimulate the Bozeman Montana real estate market.

Apparently, according to key Senate leaders, even non-first-time home owners would be eligible for the expansion portion of the Extended First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit: as long as the non-first-time home buyer had lived in the same home for a minimum of five years, the buyer could purchase a new home and be eligible for a $6,500 tax credit...promising news for stimulating further Bozeman Home Sales.

The First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit extension to April 30, 2010 would give borrowers, whose home was put under contract prior to April 30, 2010, an additional 60 days to close the home sale.

This has passed and should benefit a number of people over the next months.  Since the interest rates are soooooo gooood and the prices in Bozeman are good, we may see more people who were on the fence, hop right on over!

We're seeing a plethora of Buyers, that's for sure...but not a lot taking advantage of the credit...probably due to the higher price points... Thanks.
