Need an apple cider recipe

By

I am planning a fall get together and want to serve warm apple cider (spiked or not, I haven't decided) but need a good recipe.

Does anyone have a good cider recipe and suggestions on how to keep it hot while serving? I thought about using the crock pot??

Thanks

Hi Diana,  Not much help here but the crock idea would work well.  I remember buying some cider from an organic apple farm.  It was the best tasting cider I've ever had and had a slight " tingle " to it.  I went back a week later to buy more and the gal said that it had begun to turn " hard " and she had to dump over seven hundred gallons on the ground !!!

I've used a stock pot on the island stove top on low and it worked out quite well.  I stock up on wassail mix at holiday time, the just add that with some sliced oranges and cinnamon sticks.  Easy and GOOD!  Good luck.  The internet should be loaded with wassail reipes!
