I have been working to get noticed online-- blogging, facebook, twitter, activerain, etc... I also have a Point2 web=site-- schoweproperties.com, to promote my listings and real estate services. But where I am having my real fun is my secondary site-- livethedesertlife.com..... This site is for promoting life here in the desert-- and includes local events, golf news, dining, late=nite stuff, real estate, our country club news, etc.... I don't know if I will get business from this site--- but I sure am having fun working on it and posting videos, podcasts, and super current info-- Let me know if any of you are doing 2 sites--- and if it has impacted your business! Kathy
I am sure it is. I am finishing my first website and I will soon start a second. A static one and a separate blog.
I have several blogs and a couple websites. One of the most important things is to keep the content fresh with regular updates--Google will notice it and that in turn will attract visitors, readers and business.
Are your two sites branded and unbranded? I tend to forget to keep them separate myself...
Kathy, I use three websites. One is provided by my company, then I use two Point2 sites, one for each of the primary cities that I work in.
Although I could build the company website into a large "supersite", I tend to get more leads from the Point2 sites at this point in time. Keeping the sites updated and fresh is not very time-consuming.
