Delaware was recognized on Oct 21st by the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy  as the most improved state in energy efficiency policy and programs. According to an all-state scorecard from the council, Delaware was the most improved state, leaping from 32 in the nation last year to 20 this year. Delaware Governor, Jack Markell, said "We're pleased to be recognized... as the most improved state and to join other states in the list of top-20 performers with respect to energy efficiency." He also went on to say this will create jobs and improve industry growth.

This, in combination with the state's new push towards wind turbine use and other sustainable energy programs, in concert with our low realty taxes, progressive growth, no sales tax, and affordable housing, continues to put Delaware on the map as a highly desireable place to call home.
