Services for Real Estate Pros with CPG Tours

I come from an ad agency background, and over the years I've seen all kinds creative approaches. Some good, some not so good. Some brilliant, some not. But never have I ever seen anything quite like this. I have no idea how well it worked, but I think it's absolutely hysterical. And I'm willing to bet it got the attention they were after.

In case you're wondering, it's houseflies with tiny little pamphlets tied to them. : )

I'm laughing my fanny off! I would very much like to meet the mind that thought of this! Hysterical!

Innovative idea, Michael...but flies? No. Butterflies? Yes. At least they don't cr*p on you every time they land! :)

Hi Leilani: Thanks for the comment. Butterflies, huh? Hmmm...to me there's just something appropriately annoying about flies that make it funnier. : )

Michael ~ Genius! If that was an ad in the US, someone would have sued for insect cruelty. lol

I really like this idea! At least for a sales convention! A great way to pass out your information! It definitely gets your attention!

Hi Monique: LOL-LOL!!! You're too funny, but you are soooo right. In fact, a few years ago there was actually a type of fly on the endangered species list.

Hi Terrie: Me too. I think someone should do it here in the U.S. It certainly would be the 'buss' of the conference.

OMG - all I can think about is how the heck they managed to tie pamphlets to such tiny creatures.  I put this in the bizarre category.  I'm glad nobody swatted them...you know that would be a bit messy.

Hi Gail: I think it's too funny. Besides, I  kind of like 'bizarre' when it comes to marketing. Especially when it's this out-of-the-box. And what would make it perfect is if the little pamphlet was promoting some pest-control product or service. Thanks for the comment. : )

How did they tie that banner on the back of that tiny little fly? So "out of the Box" that's what makes it so memorable.

Hi Lee & Carol: Good point. I have no idea how they attached the pamphlet to them. Maybe a small drop of Super Glue? Thanks for the comment.

That was definitely clever!

Only problem is, house flies don't live very long!

I have never seen anything like that.  Makes you wonder about the mind that thought that one up. He/She must have thought that flies were like tiny litlte airplanes..

Hi Judi: Oh yeah, whoever thought this one up definitely has a different thought process than I do. That's for sure. Thanks for the comment.

And with robotic flies, butterflies, and birds all around us now (think Big Brother), it's only a matter of time.... You won't know if what's flying around you is real or an eye in the sky.

Happy December!

I have to wonder about the person that came up with the marketing idea!  Very funny.
