Gee I don't know if this is long enough to be called a blog but............sometimes I find myself wondering why it is so comforting? The sounds of the crowd and the noises of a football game.
I am here wrapped in a blanket watching the NFL game ( Atlanta and New Orleans) with my husband and wondering, "What will we do when the noise of football is once again off the air."
Well maybe it never is really gone because even though it is not the same if we have to we can always go back and catch the past college games that will be televised somewhere.
The sounds of the crowd, the commentators, the referees recognizable voice, "false start!" " There's a challenge on the field!"
It is a relaxing sound, a comforting sound that says to us tonight all is well in America. The world-wide news is not coming into my house, how wonderful! No silly canned laughter, how wonderful! 
Maybe it is just a good excuse for sitting together or a party or getting together with family and for sure looking forward to one more superbowl. XL1V here we come.
