Recruting Great Agents In Chicago

By
Real Estate Agent with Foxhall Investments

This question goes out to all the broker/managers out there...

So right now we are in a period of major growth.  We are opening our 3rd office in less than a year, have plenty of leads and a great system to keep them coming.  But we are very specific about the quality of agent we bring into the fold and are really looking for a combination of web savvy and at least 2 years experience.

Career Builder isnt cutting it.  We have a recruiting ad in Chicago Agent magazine and have a couple email campaigns going on, we'll have to wait to see how those work out.

Any suggestions on great ways to find qualified lateral recruits?

Cheers,

networking........word of mouth.  We have 3 office locations, everyone in our company is included in the recruiting effort. We mail new recruits and physically talk to seasoned. We have many lead generation tools.   One thing I have learned is that there is nothing more powerful than your agents recruiting on your behalf.  We compensate for recruiting. All of us are also non-competing broker associates(management).  That seems to work for us.  Also every company has something special to capitalize on.  We are non-competing. Our offices are awarding winning offices since 1997, we are #7 in our Board for 2005.  In House Trainer, 24/7 day a week online training.  I could go on and on.  Hope this helps.
