In doing so, you should consider some helpful guidelines in writing an ad to sell your commercial real estate. First, provide accurate details of any structures on the property. You should list also the full dimensions of the footprint of the building like the square footage of various interior areas, detail available warehouse space, meeting areas, office space, bay and utility areas as well as retail space.

Next, list the exterior space like acreage, zoning, and land use. Be precise about parking areas, any extra structures and their uses, and the opportunity for future expansion.

It is a good idea to inform the reader precisely where the property is situated. Make specific references to distances from highways, airports and area landmarks as appropriate. Also discuss neighboring properties, what types of businesses operate nearby and what kind of traffic is generated as a result. Don't forget to specify the business presently operating at the site and briefly mention why the property and/or business is now for sale.  

Finally, list all fixtures and equipment that is included in the sale and describe the general condition of major elements. Lastly, state asking price, terms of the sale and any special options the seller offers.
