You know sometimes you have to step out of the real estate box and just do something for you.. Ok, so I'm not sure what guys do but I believe as a female in this market requires a little pampering. So many of us work, work, work, work, work, blah, blah, blah that we actually forget to just stop and breathe for a couple of minutes or hours. I mean really. This year has been a eye opener in so many aspects that I can't even begin to share. All I know is thank goodness I'm an environmentalist because I wrote plenty of offers that never went through, spent a lot of time and energy trying to get offers to go through. And at the end of the day am totally exhausted and absolutely way too tired to care for me, at the end of the day all I could think of is how am I going to get up those stairs and get to bed. HAHAHA, really it wasn't quite that bad but I can tell you total exhaustion pretty much all day everyday.
So, one day I go to a different girl to cut my hair, I wasn't "cheating" on my hair dresser of over 6 years, she was out of town. But the new Salon I went to after after they finished cutting and styling my hair asked if I'd like a makeup makeover. I totally agreed to it. Shut my phone off and enjoyed the makeover. It was great, I deserved it and it was free and very liberating. So the next time I go back to "my" hairdresser I will share with her my experience at the other salon, What do you think she'll say or do? I bet ya I get a makeup makeover for nothing. take time for yourselves girls and guys I'm not sure what you do that is comparable to a makeover but I hope you take time for you. . Penny O
