Chili Cookoff Lakeside Rodeo Grounds

By
Real Estate Agent with Integrity First Financial Group, Inc.

Don't mis the Second Annual Chili Cookoff and Beer Festival at the Lakeside Rodeo Grounds tomorrow, November 7! Sponsored by local radio station 101 KGB, this event is open to all ages and is a really inexpensive day of fun! $5 gets you on the grounds at 10:00 am until 6:00 pm.

Throughout the day the contestants will be cookin up their pots of chili (60 entrants last I heard!) and will be available for sampling! There will be plenty of activities for all! Rides for the kids, and plenty of beer! Voting will take place all day and the winner is awarded $2000!

Participating Breweries:

  • Ballast Point Brewing Company
  • Stone Brewing Co.
  • Coronado Brewing Co.
  • Bootlegger's Brewery
  • La Jolla Brew House
  • Palm Breweries
  • Karl Strauss Brewing Company

For $20 you can get a wristband and taste away! You are sure to walk away with a new favorite beer! Stone Brewing Company has my vote from last year!

Don't miss Dave, Shelley and Chainsaw broadcasting in the afternoon! Have a great time and please remember to stay safe and Don't Drink and Drive!

Stephanie,

Sounds like a great event full of fun! I love reading Localism posts all over the country. They can give people some good ideas to take to their own communities. And I love chili! I always participate in a chili cookoff when there's one in my area. Thanks for all the info!
