FACEBOOK ADS. MY RESULTS AFTER ONE MONTH...

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty Infinity

Back in early October, excited with wealth after a recent closing, I began an ad campain on my favorite social media site, Facebook...

                                                             Facebook

I am running two ads.

One highlights my Facebook Business Page(I am very proud of the rapid growth of this page.  Thank you so much to my 250+ fans!  I am excited about the potential of this site.)

The other spotlights "Ken's Featured Home".  My listing of the month:

                                                 2112 Seminary, Ken's Featured Home
-2112 Seminary-One bedroom vintage in Lincoln Park...

I promised to post my results.  After one month:

My featured home ad has been run 143,140 times.  Exposure for my website.  Exposure for my listings.  The ad has been clicked on 45 times...

My Facebook Business Page ad has been run 526,471 times.  This ad has been clicked on 140 times.  I have gained an additional 17 fans to my page from this campaign...

The total cost of the campaign after one month has been $120.40.

Interesting numbers Ken. Like Michael I'm wondering if you have any leads you can trace back to the feature home ad?

The office page is a diamond in the rough - no one knows the potential that page may produce.

Looking forward to the next update --

Ken...

That's still not a bad per click price. I wonder if it will produce any business?

Though your ads are being clicked on, is anyone filling out a capture form on your website so you can follow up with them?  $120 is a lot of money to not have any actual "leads" to inquire about buying or selling.

Hi Donna, Laura, Alexandria, Richard, Debbie, Michael, and Rita.  Thanks for stopping in.

Do I have any leads?  I am not sure.  Time will tell.

I have hosted plenty of open houses, written a whole lot of blogs, and done tons of other stuff that hasn't produced leads right away.

I am marketing for increased exposure to me and my listings.

I am pleased with the results, and am continuing with my marketing.

I will keep you posted.

Thanks again,

Ken

Thanks Ken...Keep us informed. Marketing is so important and if we can afford to pursue multiple marketing channels simultaneously, why not. I am wondering how long it may be before you experience a customer conversion. It would be great to see another update next month.

Have a great day!

Hi Ken,

That's very interesting.  It sounds like you are building good online momentum.  Are you continuing to advertise on Facebook?

"Do I have any leads?  I am not sure.  Time will tell."

Does this mean you don't have any kind of web capture on your website?  Why would you spend so much money with no way to capture contact information?

I haven't implemented any Facebook ads yet, but love the way you can really drill down and target them. Thanks for sharing your numbers, Ken!

Hi John, Donna, and Bruce.  Thanks for stopping in.

Donna, I don't have any lead capture on my site.  My website doesn't require registration.  I would debate your definition of "so much money".  I am advertising my listings.  Sellers like that...

Yes I am continuing my ads.

Thanks again everyone,

Ken

I am finding FaceBook ads to be very effective and will probably spend more money there.  I link them to a web site, not my fan page.

Hi Gene and Bill.  Thanks for reading and good ideas.

I send some to the website (those that click on Ken's Featured Home) but honestly more excited about my Facebook page right now...

Thanks again,

Clicks are great but if you're not capturing the leads and turning them into sales, it is a lot of money spent.

Hi Darin and Bonnie.  Thanks for stopping in.

Darin, sounds great.  Let me know what you need!

Bonnie, it is hard to turn one month of marketing into a sale already...

Thanks again,
