going out...?

By

My son he's 16 , cute as can be

smart , respectful and has access to the key

I raised him well and now I must see that someday some other girl will replace me.....

he asked her last night and without a fight she jumped at the chance to continue to dance

what does this all mean to me, I wonder how far something like this could be?

Remembering 16 , behind the stall my first kiss was given with out even a call

that boy sure hurt me but found out by mail, to look him up now that boy is in Jail

I have raized him the best that i beleive that I could

I just hope all the words sink in like they should......

Love.... MOM

Kristie, all you can do is what you think is right.  Back him up on his ideas and ambitions, and bail him out when he gets in over his head.

I didn't have the pleasure of raising my boys and influencing them through their adolence years.  Their mother and her shack-up boyfriend did all that.

Now they are grown and I get to provide some influence, support and of course the bailing out.

Whoops, I almost got sidetracked....

Just give him all your love and support and by all means treat him like he is 16 and not 12, he will be fine!

They grow up so fast.... My son is 23, a police officer, has had the same girlfriend for 2 years. He has had a few girlfriends through the years. He has had the ups and downs when it comes to relationships. Fortunately he has always confided in my wife. That is what is important "mom" - be there when he needs you!

Boy do they ever grow up fast.  My daughter is 41, my son is 39 and my step daughter is 30.  The good news is that both daughters have provided us with the most beautiful grandchildren; three boys and a girl expected any minute now.  Cherish this time because it goes away fast.
