Veterans in Surprise, Arizona

By
Real Estate Agent with Ken Meade Realty

To Brothers one and all..

I just spend a good part of my day at the VA Hospital due to a small injury.  I was surrounded by so many of my fellow Veterans, and it made me think about how much things and people have changed.  Those of us who are Veterans have not, but those that surround us have changed amazingly.  From my personal view the system, doctors, nurses and support groups are taking more time and better care of us than I could ever have expected.  I now more than ever feel a sense of pride that I have never felt before. I was one of those cursed Vietnam Veterans, but now after the way I was treated and cared for before, during and after surgery.  I feel a sense of Pride not found before.  Thank you to those who serve, have served and all the support crews that are there to cover our six.  God Bless you all, from the bottom of my Soul.

Roland

Brother in arms... thank you for serving too.   Yes, the VA has changed alot.  More people are aware of what was the norm so it had to change.

For those of us that are retired, the new house health care reform bill will do away with the tri-care that we have now, we'll have to sign up instead for some kind of Gov't option...  So there goes another benefit the we were promised....

Kenneth are just trying to scare the bajebees out of me.  My Mom is currently on tri-care, my dad was retired from the military also.  I did 2 tours in Nam and turned down reenlistment, because I quite literally was in fear of my life.  So God Bless you for having more courage.  The thing I don't understand is how our government can keep sending our troops back to Iraq / Afghanistan again and again.  As I'm sure you know the maxim amount of 3 combat tours was all you had to do in Vietnam.

Thank you for serving
